Happy New Year! I thought today would be a good time to thank everyone who checks in on this blog, as it was just born in 2012. It’s something that became a big part of my year, and I can’t wait to share more postcards in the year ahead.
I took a look at Postcard Post’s stats since it began, and was bowled over by how many countries viewers were from. Not only did it give this little snail the travel bug, but it heartened me right through my shell to see the interest people have in each other’s lands and cultures.
Snail’s Postcard Post has received views from the following countries:
(stamp of Bohemian physicist and engineer František Josef Gerstner 1756-1832)
(stamp of Queen Margrethe II)
“…I saw a young woman on the back of a motor scooter bow her head & put her hands together in namaste (they call it wai) as she zoomed past a temple.”
Thank you all for your interest in Snail’s Postcard Post. Wishing you great happiness and lots of snail mail in 2013!
