As promised, here’s a set of postcards of unsettling camp, slightly disturbing whimsy, and the dead-out blasphemously funny.
In the same exhibition, Dietrich Wegner showed photographs and wax figures (I found the photographs more striking) of babies covered in logos. They didn’t have the whimsy of the piece featured in the postcard, but were definitely disturbing, making a bold point. You can view them here
Yes, this is more like a zine, but it was out for grabs on a postcard rack, and I keep it in my postcard collection.
